Extrait : The flexibility provided by international arbitration is appealing for parties because of the important autonomy it grants them. Indeed, the latter can decide for a major party of the arbitral proceedings. Parties can benefit from international conventions to have a legal framework. This is what the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law Arbitration Rules, the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes Convention and the International Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Rules provide.
